A Real Taste of History

Pick-up: Accommodation

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in a comfortable Land Rover Discovery 4×4.

Stop 1: Seppeltsfield

Start your Barossa Producers wine tour at Seppeltsfield, taking a walk alongside the longest lineage of single vintage wines in the world in the Centennial Cellar, culminating in a taste direct from the barrel of a 100 Year Old Tawny Port.

Stop 2: Vasse Virgin Skin Care & Olive Oil Factory

At Seppeltsfield Estate we’ll also take a visit to Vasse Virgin Skin Care and Olive Oil Factory. Set in the old distillery, staff will show you their range of natural skin care products, using a traditional cold process method. Vasse Virgin uses pure essential oils and plant extracts to create perfume in their products. Ingredients include organically grown teas, clays, flowers, herbs and spices.

Stop 3: Lunch at Vintners Bar & Grill

Enjoy a two course lunch at Vintners Bar & Grill, a Barossa icon and multi award winning restaurant that creates distinctive and brilliantly balanced dishes.

Stop 4: Torbreck Vintners

After lunch you’re treated to a private tasting in the Clan Room at Torbreck. Torbreck has assembled some of the finest vineyards and growers in the region to make their ultra-premium wines. They source their fruit from vines that date back as early as the 1840s creating wines of richness, structure and length that age gracefully.

Stop 5: Rockford Wines

Then we’ll visit famous Barossa producer, Rockford Wines, to taste their prestigious wine range and see their historical working winery.

Stop 6: Steingarten Vineyard

Finish your day with a 4WD tour through a series of farm gate trails into the spectacular Barossa Ranges where we’ll visit a secret gem of the Barossa, the Jacob’s Creek Steingarten Vineyard. The name Steingarten translates to ‘stone garden’ and you’ll enjoy spectacular views from this most famous vineyard, plus a glass of this highly limited Australian Riesling overlooking the vineyard from which it comes.
