A VIP Experience in Barossa's Finest Vineyards
Explore one of Australia’s most iconic wine regions. A day tour that explores the most famous wine brands in the country in a series of private tastings that finishes with a VIP experience at Henschke Wines where you go into the Hill of Grace Vineyards and taste their icon wines.
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in a comfortable Land Rover Discovery 4×4.
We’ll start with Torbreck which has assembled some of the finest vineyards and growers in the region to make their ultra-premium wines. They source their fruit from vines that date back as early as the 1840s, and pay tribute to these vineyards with minimal intervention, creating wines of richness, structure and length that age gracefully. Enjoy a private cellar door tasting in one of the most esteemed wineries of the country, that has achieved no less than 5 hundred point scores in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Finish with a tour of their wine library, with its incredible collection of large format bottles.
Next visit Elderton Wines. Savour a private tasting in the Duke Room at the original Elderton Homestead. Elderton wines has vineyards dating back to 1894 and was famous for winning World’s Best Shiraz in 2000.
For lunch visit Vintners Bar & Grill. This is an award-winning bar & grill and where the local winemaking community dines. Enjoy a 2 course lunch with matched wine.
To finish we’ll visit Henschke. Enter this icon and take a private VIP tour of Australian winemaking history. You’ll enjoy exclusive access to one of Australia’s most celebrated vineyards, the Hill of Grace Vineyard, including a walk to see the oldest “Grandfather” vines. Then savour a tour of Henschke’s historical working winery to explore 150 years of family winemaking history, followed by a private tasting of Henschke’s most precious icon wines including Hill of Grace, culminating in the Hill of Grace.
